In 2016, 467,000 new cases of leukemia and 310,000 deaths were reported. One in 118 men will develop the disease compared with one in 194 women. The main contributors to this increase were population growth with 12 percent, population aging with 10 percent, and an increase in age-specific incidence rates with 3 percent.1
In 2016, there were 461,000 incident cases of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and 240,000 worldwide, One in 110 men and one in 161 women developed non-Hodgkin lymphoma over a lifetime.1
