• Women's Breast Health

You care for the woman and the soldier. This population of Veterans is diverse, with a complex variety of risk factors concerning their breast health. These include dense breast tissue – affecting up to 46 percent of women1 – microcalcifications, BRCA mutations, obesity and familial risk factors. Any one factor or a combination of these can complicate your ability to effectively screen and diagnose their conditions. Meeting the breast health needs of every woman – as well as those with these special considerations can be challenging. We’re here to help.

  • Diagnostic Imaging

Many Veterans with combat experience or other trauma associated with their service present unique challenges that must be acknowledged, such as PTSD – often triggered by loud noises and/or confined spaces. An MRI exam, in particular, can bring about PTSD-related anxiety and flashbacks. MRI and other acquisition systems that deliver exceptional images should bring Veterans peace of mind, not apprehension about the process itself. That’s why GE Healthcare puts a lot of care and attention into how we can make the diagnostic experience as stress free and relaxing as possible for Veterans.

  • Diagnostic Cardiology

Saving time and streamlining cardiology care pathways starts by getting a clear, high-quality electrocardiogram (ECG) the first time. Our comprehensive cardiology solutions – featuring proven, advanced clinical capabilities -- enable critical insights for critical decisions to make faster, more confident assessments of cardiac risk.
